My purpose is to determine what motivates and drives participants in outplacement and career transition programmes, who have recently been retrenched, to guide them through the process of identifying and achieving their goals for career growth and professional success.

I can help you with

assisting retrenched employees with outplacement support, facilitating online career transition programmes in group and 1:1 format, help define career achievements, establish new career goals and objectives, design and implement outplacement programs, provide corporate retrenchment support, develop employer branding

I started my career in 1990 and since then, have worked in media, marketing, research and HR-related industries, filling various positions across a range of functions in each, at management and director level.

I joined the DMA Group as Consulting Partner in 2002 and currently provide clients with a broad range of HR and Research-related services.

I regularly facilitate outplacement and retrenchment support programmes with Groups and Individuals in face to face and online format.  These programmes follow the guidelines outlined in our book which is titled “A Bend in The Road – A Guide to Career Transition”. Originally written in 2010 and updated in 2017, a second edition has been written and published in 2020.

Commencing at the ‘pick-up stage’ of retrenchment, these programmes focus on the four career transition phases of Separation, Preparation, Communication and Negotiation and include insights to entrepreneurship and self-employment.

I have a BA in Communications & Industrial Psychology, Diploma in Advanced Business Management and Certificates in Economics, Digital Marketing and Entrepreneurship.  I am currently studying towards a Coaching Certificate through the University of Cape Town and enjoy spending time in the outdoors with family and friends.
